केदारनाथ कस्बा

केदारनाथ हिमालय पर्वतमाला में बसा भारत के उत्तरांखण्ड राज्य का एक कस्बा है। यह रुद्रप्रयाग की एक नगर पंचायत है। यह हिन्दू धर्म के अनुयाइयों के लिए पवित्र स्थान है। यहाँ स्थित केदारनाथ मंदिर का शिव लिंग १२ ज्योतिर्लिंगों में से एक है और हिन्दू धर्म के उत्तरांचल के चार धाम और पंच केदार में गिना जाता है। श्रीकेदारनाथ का मंदिर ३,५९३ मीटर की ऊँचाई पर बना हुआ एक भव्य एवं विशाल मंदिर है। इतनी ऊँचाई पर इस मंदिर को कैसे बनाया गया, इस बारे में आज भी पूर्ण सत्य ज्ञात नहीं हैं। सतयुग में शासन करने वाले राजा केदार के नाम पर इस स्थान का नाम केदार पड़ा। राजा केदार ने सात महाद्वीपों पर शासन और वे एक बहुत पुण्यात्मा राजा थे। उनकी एक पुत्री दो पुत्र थे । पुत्रका नाम कार्तिकेय (मोहन्याल) व गणेश था । गणेश बुद्दि व कार्तिकेय (मोहन्याल) शक्ति के राजा देवता के रुपमे संसार प्रसिद्द है ।उनकी एक पुत्री थी वृंदा जो देवी लक्ष्मी की एक आंशिक अवतार थी।[1] वृंदा ने ६०,००० वर्षों तक तपस्या की थी। वृंदा के नाम पर ही इस स्थान को वृंदावन भी कहा जाता है। केदारनाथ — city — केदारनाथ कस्बे का दृश्य केदारनाथ कस्बे का दृश्य...
